Final Stats
The Siena softball team dropped two games Friday in the Mercer Invitational, losing to Central Florida 8-0 and Mercer 5-0. The Saints fell to 6-14 with the two losses.
In the first game of the day, Central Florida scored four runs in the second and third innings en route to the 8-0 win. Jennifer Griner, Kelly Boyle and Christa Fasano each had a hit for Siena.
In the second game of the day, Griner upped her average to .371 with a three-hit outing, but the Saints failed to get on the board. Mercer scored once in the first inning and then erupted for four insurance runs in the sixth to pull out the win.
