LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Softball set a new program standard for academic excellence as a record 13 student-athletes from the 2026 roster were named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced.
The honor recognizes student-athletes who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year. More than 9,000 softball student-athletes across all collegiate divisions and the high school ranks earned recognition this year. Siena's 13 honorees established a new program record and marked the ninth time in program history the Saints have been represented on the prestigious academic list.
Recently graduated seniors
Mckenzie Faherty,
Ella Milante, and
Emma Petersen led Siena's honorees. Petersen collected Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar recognition for the third time in her career, while Faherty and Milante earned the distinction for the first time.
The Saints' junior class was represented by
Chloe Cummings,
Gracie Goewey,
Mary Mikalsen, and
Carlie Venables. Venables garnered the award for the second time, while Cummings, Goewey, and Mikalsen each secured their first career NFCA academic honor.
Among Siena's sophomores,
Gianna DiMeglio was recognized for the second time in her career, while

The academic success comes on the heels of another strong campaign on the diamond.
