LOUDONVILLE, NY – After producing one of the most impressive individual seasons in recent Siena Softball history,
Gracie Goewey earned All-ECAC honors for her performance during the 2026 campaign.
Goewey continued her historic season after becoming the first MAAC Pitcher of the Year in program history. The junior also earned NFCA Second Team All-Northeast Region recognition, marking the ninth NFCA All-Region selection in Siena softball history, while additionally collecting First Team All-MAAC honors and a MAAC Pitcher of the Week selection.
One of the region's top arms throughout the spring, Goewey threw a no-hitter on April 12 and rewrote Siena's record book by setting the program's single-season shutouts record with seven while tying the single-season strikeout mark with 164. Her seven shutouts ranked sixth nationally, while her strikeout total ranked 32nd in Division I. She also ranked 17th nationally with 18 complete games and 54th nationally by allowing just 5.56 hits per seven innings.
Within the MAAC, Goewey led the conference with 59 strikeouts looking — 28 more than any other league pitcher — while posting the conference's second-lowest opponent batting average at .217. She additionally recorded one of the top win totals in a single season in Siena history.

Boston University nearly swept all major awards with outfielder Kylie Doherty winning Player of the Year, Kasey Ricard being named Pitcher of the Year, and Ashley Waters winning Coach of the Year.
Katie Parisi from the University at Albany won Rookie of the Year.
