The Siena baseball team volunteered much of its Saturday afternoon to prepare a meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Albany. The Saints made an Italian feast, complete with pasta, salad and garlic bread.
"Giving back to the community is important to Siena College and very important to our program," head coach Tony Rossi said. "We are happy to help out in any way we can."
The Ronald McDonald House houses families who have children in the pediatric ward at Albany Medical Center. Siena has partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities the past four years, with several teams preparing meals at the house or visiting the children in the hospital
