LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena men's soccer forward Matt Turcio was named MAAC Rookie of the Week as announced by the league earlier today. Turcio scored a goal and had an assist in an overtime loss to Central Connecticut State on Sunday.

Turcio registered the assist when he ripped a shot off the left post that rebounded to teammate Bobby DiFilippo who finished the goal. Turcio scored his first career goal on a ball played into the box that was tipped by the goalkeeper. Turcio corralled the ball and finished it from two yards off the goal line.

Siena returns to action Friday at Rhode Island at 7 p.m.
