Siena moved to 3-3 in the Rebel Spring Games with their performances Tuesday, falling to Green Bay 8-3 in the morning before edging Columbia 2-1 that afternoon. The Saints are now 6-7 on the year.
Siena was held to just four hits in the opener, and just one following a two-run first inning. The Saints used four different pitchers in seven innings, and sophomore Mandy Ferro was saddled with the loss.
Siena came out swinging against Columbia, as a two-run home run by Shannon Jones in the first inning gave the Saints a lead they would not relinquish. The Green and Gold were outhit 5-4, but freshman Jessika - Jo Sandrini allowed just one run in seven innings to pick up the victory.
Siena continues play at the Rebel Spring Games on Thursday, with morning tilts against Youngstown State and Army.
