Siena Swimming and Diving Juniors Megan Grace and Hailey Beers earned MAAC weekly honors Wednesday. Grace was named the conference's Women's Swimmer of the Week, with Beers taking home Women's Diver of the Week. The pair led the Saints picking up key points for the team in the tough New England Catholic Invite.

Grace, a native of Dalton Mass., earned the best performance for the Saints in the Invite, finishing second in the 500 free after swimming a 5:19.78. She finished seventh of 30 competitors in the 1000 free. Grace was also a member of the 400-medley relay and 400-free relay teams that finished ninth of 19 teams and seventh of 18 teams, respectively.

Beers, the Saints top returning diver picked up her first diver of the week this season after winning two MAAC and one ECAC diver of the weeks last season. She finished fifth of 11 divers in the 3 meter dive scoring a 182.65, and sixth out of fifteen divers in the 1 meter dive.

The Saints return to action Wednesday October 22, when they host Holy Cross in their home opener in the Siena Swim Center.
