Siena lost another lead and another game Saturday night, falling 10-7 at Stetson in the first game of a three-game weekend set. Justin Esquerra went 4-for-5 with three runs scored and John Rooney had three hits for the Saints.

Andres Ortiz two-run homer in the fourth gave Siena (0-10) a 6-3 lead, but Stetson struck for six runs in its next three at bats to go up 9-6.

Matt Gage allowed 10 hits and six runs in five innings for the Saints. Kyano Cummings got touched up for four runs in 1.1 innings before Matt Quintana came on to pitch 1.2 scoreless innings.

The Saints loaded the bases in the ninth, but only managed one run on Dan Swain's RBI single.

Stetson (3-11) pounded out 15 hits, led by Josh Powers' 4-for-5 performance. Josh Thorne picked up the win with 3.2 innings of solid relief work.

The two teams play a doubleheader Sunday at 1 p.m.
