Final Stats

Fordham Softball used two big innings to help defeat at Siena Softball 15-2, Tuesday in the Bronx. Game Two of the doubleheader was called in the third inning due to rain.

The Rams scored eight runs in the second inning and six runs in the fourth to pull to their final advantage. Paige Ortiz went 3-3 with two home runs and six RBI's in the victory.

The Saints lone runs occurred in the fourth inning, highlighted by a Paige Hess leadoff home run, her third of the season. Abby Carpenter would later score on a throwing error for Siena's other run.

Lauren Butts pitched 1.2 innings in the loss for the Saints.

Game 2 of the doubleheader was called in the bottom of the third inning due to rain. The Rams were leading 4-3 in the ballgame.

Siena returns home Sunday with their conference home opener against Fairfield at 1 and 3 p.m.
