LOUDONVILLE, N.Y.- Siena Swimming's Fiona Dretzka was named the MAAC Swimmer of the Week on Wednesday. This is the first weekly award for the junior.

The Northglenn, Colorado native had one of the best performances of her career on Saturday in West Long Branch when the Saints soundly defeated MAAC opponents Manhattan and Monmouth.

Dretzka began the meet with a win the 200 medley relay as she swam first for the winning Siena team. Next, Dretzka took the 100 backstroke (1:00.08) before winning the 200 backstroke (2:13.67). Dretzka ended her day with a victory in the 200 IM (2:16.98). Siena soundly defeated both Manhattan (176-80) and Monmouth (189-60).

Dretzka and the Saints will compete for the last time in 2016 at the ECAC Championships in East Meadow, N.Y. on December 2nd through 4th. Siena won the title for the first time in school history last season.
