Game One: Quinnipiac 5, Siena 2 (7)
Quinnipiac (16-18, 8-1) scored three times in its final at-bat to break a late 2-2 tie and secure its third straight series victory to open its conference slate.
Liam Scafariello delivered the go-ahead single in the bottom of the sixth to plate two runs. Siena (7-25, 6-6) was hamstrung by a pair of errors on both scoring plays in the frame, which led to two of the three runs being unearned.

Brandon Shileikis went the distance on the mound for Quinnipiac, scattering nine hits and two runs while striking out five without issuing a walk to earn the win.
Game Two: Siena 12, Quinnipiac 4
Siena broke a 3-3 tie with a six-run fifth capped by a three-run homer from Drpich to take the series finale. All nine starters recorded hits and seven of nine scored in an offensive showcase for the Saints, which put 23 runners on base.
Drpich recorded game-highs of three hits and four RBI, while moving into fifth place all-time in program history in RBI (134), sixth in extra-base hits (72), and eighth in total bases (326). Madonna added two more hits and scored twice to cap a monster week for the Siena backstop. In five games, he hit .526 (10-19) with six runs scored, five RBI, and three doubles, while also throwing out five would be base stealers from behind the dish.
The Saints batted around in sending all nine men to the plate while pounding out six of their 13 hits during the decisive fifth inning. Jordan Bishop opened the frame with a double, and came into score the first run of the inning which marked his milestone 100th career run.
Tom Sutera tossed the final 6.1 innings in relief, surrendering four hits and just one run while walking two and striking out four to record his first career win.
Siena continues its 10-game road trip Tuesday with a non-conference tilt at Central Connecticut. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m. in New Britain, Connecticut.
