Due to unforeseen circumstances caused by extremely windy conditions, Siena Softball's scheduled Sunday doubleheader at the Buccaneer Invitational in Johnson City, TN has been canceled, effectively ending weekend play for the Saints.

After falling in a pair of contests to open up weekend play on Saturday, Siena has been scheduled to face off against Rutgers at 9 AM and cap the day at 11 AM in a rematch against Evansville. However, the tarp was blown off the field overnight, creating temporarily un-playable conditions and delaying tournament play until later in the afternoon. As a result, both Siena and Rutgers canceled their scheduled contests for Sunday.

The Saints will have a weekend off before taking part in the CCSU Invitational in Connecticut March 23-24.
