Siena Men's Soccer head coach Graciano Brito continued the unveiling of his first signing class at the helm of the program Tuesday with the announcement of the addition of Thomas Sams to the team's roster beginning next season.
 
"Tom is a very exciting prospect," Brito said. "He's a versatile defender who will bring experience to our back line."
 
A native of St. Helens in Merseyside, England, Sams has played on the Leicester City Academy squad since 2018 as part of their U18 team. The center back previously competed with the Huddersfield Town Academy from 2017-18.
 
"Tom is a quick, strong, and composed central defender, and we love his passion and resiliency," Brito added. "His experience playing in the Premier League Development League will help bolster our back line and add depth to our defense."
