20 Saints Head to Collegiate Summer Leagues

Current Siena Baseball Players Will Compete in Four Collegiate Summer Leagues

LOUDONVILLE, NY – Following the conclusion of their 2021 season, the Siena Saints will send 20 members of their squad to five different collegiate summer baseball leagues across the east coast.

Operating from June through August collegiate summer baseball is open to players who have competed at least one year of collegiate baseball and have at least one year of athletic eligibility remaining. Saints that compete in summer collegiate baseball leagues will use wooden bats, as opposed to metal bats used in the MAAC and the NCAA.

The Saints finished their season 15-24 and clinching a spot in the MAAC postseason as the No. 7 seed. Siena's top moment would come against an undefeated and No. 23 nationally-ranked Fairfield in the front end of a double header on May 2 by a final of 6-1.
