LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Siena Outdoor track got a program record MAAC Individual title Sunday afternoon, as the Saints concluded weekend action at the 2022 MAAC Outdoor Track Championships Presented by VisitNJ. The men's team finished sixth for the second straight year, while the women's squad logged a program-best fifth place finish at the Michael P. Brady Track & Field Complex on the campus of Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.

Sunday's action was highlighted by junior
Aidan Gillooley winning the men's 5,000-meter individual title with a time of 14:28.79 for his first-ever MAAC gold. The Glenville, New York native joined classmates
Brandon Olden (10,000) and
Tommy Anderson (3,000 steeplechase) in capturing MAAC wins on the weekend, with the program combining for a program record five individual titles across all three 2021-22 championship events.

Gillooley's title was complemented by a pair of second place finishes from senior
Olivia Lomascolo, who recorded her best-ever MAAC outdoor finishes in both the 1,500 and the 5,000. The Ballston Lake, NY product ran a time of 4:38.86 in the 1,500, while finishing with a mark of 17:02.54 in the 5,000, running the two races just over two hours apart.

The women's team also featured junior
Delia McDade Clay in the 1,500 final for a sixth-place finish of 4:43.97, while the men saw junior
Matthew Laframboise place 12
th in the 1,500 final at 4:03.32. Graduate student
Regina Rosati finished fifth in the women's 5,000 at 17:15.12, while Anderson took sixth on the men's side with a mark of 14:46.49. Other women's 5,000 competitors from Siena included freshman

Siena also took part in all three relay events on the day, beginning with both teams finishing ninth in their respective 4x100 relays, which included the women's team running the third-fastest time in program history (55.45), and the men logging the fourth-fastest mark (49.61). Keira Flaherty took fourth in the 4x800 relay (9:20.29), while the men's squad of sophomore

Luke Tkaczyk, and Laframboise finished sixth with a time of 7:50.04. Finally, Siena's women's 4x400 team placed eighth with a time of 4:23.20, while the men's group took seventh at 3:35.58.

The Saints will continue postseason action with select runners competing at the 2022 ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Track Championships hosted by William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia May 13-15.
