LOUDONVILLE, NY – Ahead of the start of the 2023 season, Siena Men's Soccer Head Coach Graciano Brito announced the signing of incoming freshman Carl Melin as part of the team's incoming class.

"We are very excited to have Carl as part of our family," Brito said. "He will add depth and quality to our midfield and bring a championship mentality! He's very young, but has tremendous experience at a high level."

A native of Nacka, Sweden, Melin previously attended Solna Gymnasium and played club soccer for the U17 Swedish National Champions in AIK.

Melin joins a Siena squad that finished the 2022 campaign with an 8-5-6 mark and its third straight MAAC postseason berth.
