Alex Jurczynski announced the addition of 15 Saints for the 2025 season. The incoming class consists of 11 transfers and four true freshmen.
"We're looking forward to having these players step in and contribute right away," said Jurczynski. "They've shown they can compete at a high level, and we expect them to make an immediate impact on the field. The addition of these transfers will complement our core roster, while bringing a new energy to the team as we prepare for the season ahead."
A quick and dynamic outfielder, Daymond hit .351 in the Northwoods Summer Collegiate League in 2023, and .304 in the NSCL this past year. He set career highs this past season at Bemidji State with 34 hits, 15 RBI's, a .378 slugging percentage, a .353 on-base percentage, and 12 walks while posting the second-highest batting average of his three-year career at .286.
Aidan Paradine | C/1B | Bayonne, NJ | Bayonne HS/Northwest Florida/Georgia Tech
The former No. 1 catching prospect in the State of New Jersey and top-350 recruit nationally coming out of high school, Paradine led the state in RBI's en route to being named a Third Team Perfect Game All-American and Gatorade Player of the Year nominee. He was a Perfect Game All-Tournament selection after hitting .621 in 2023 and .344 in 2022. Paradine began his collegiate career at Georgia Tech for a semester before transferring to Northwest Florida Junior College.
One of two incoming players from the University of New Haven, Pincince captured Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team and All-Rookie Team accolades while with the Chargers. He appeared in 38 games, starting 36 as the primary left fielder, and finished the season with an impressive .357 batting average, ranking third on the team. Coming out of North Haven High School, Pincince was named All-State as a junior, and received All-Southern Connecticut Conference honors twice following his junior and senior years.
Glickman spent three seasons playing for Division III Roger Williams, making 25 appearances primarily as a bullpen arm. He broke out last season with a 1.46 ERA over 12.1 innings, earning six saves across 15 games. Aside from baseball, Glickman was a standout soccer goalie in high school, earning All-Cal First Team honors in his senior year, and second team honors in his junior year.
The 2022 Section II Pitcher of the Year and two-time Suburban Council Pitcher of the Year out of Colonie High School makes his way back to the Capital District following stints at New Haven and Xavier. While at New Haven, Sausville captured Northeast-10 Southwest Division Rookie Pitcher of the Year honors, and was named to the NE10 All-Conference Third Team and All-Rookie Team.
Vincent Venditti | OF | Schenectady, NY | Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake HS/Saint Rose
No stranger to the Capital District, Venditti graduated from Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake high School before playing at The College of Saint Rose for three seasons. There, he was a .293 career hitter with 38 of his 124 career hits going for extra-bases. Venditti captured NE10 Third Team All-Conference honors last season, and appeared on the NE10 All-Rookie team in 2022. His summer league career was highlighted by 2023 Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League All-Star honors.
During his high school career at Egg Harbor Township High School, McIntosh established himself as one of the top pitchers in the region. During his senior year, he posted an impressive 1.89 ERA over 60 innings pitched, striking out 72 batters while walking only 22. He joins the Saints as the 21st rated right handed pitcher in New Jersey by Perfect Game.
Jake Sparks | INF | Hoosick Falls, NY | Hoosick Falls HS/Marshall
A local product, from Hoosick Falls, NY, Sparks adds versatility to the Saints with his strong defensive skills, and presence in the box. Prior to joining Marshall, Sparks was the Wasaren League MVP and a Section II runner-up in high school.
Marcus Botelho | RHP | Portsmouth, RI | Portsmouth HS/Community College of Rhode Island/Saint Rose
Another transfer from The College of Saint Rose, Botrlho appeared in 12 games last season for the Golden Knights, tossing 11.2 frames with 14 strikeouts and one save.
A four-year starter at Immaculata High school, Thompson is fresh off of a senior season where he posted a .403 batting average. The left handed bat joins the Saints as the 42nd ranked shortstop prospect in the State of New Jersey.
A decorated prospect out of the State of Virginia, Sanchez was an All-State Second team selection, as well as first Team All-Region & All-District. He joins the Saints as the 30th ranked outfielder coming out of Viginia, as well as the 179th overall ranked prospect in the state.
JT Gunzy | RHP | Danbury, CT | Immaculate HS/Roger Williams
Another Roger Williams product, Gunzy is a multiple All-Commonwealth Coast Conference honoree as he was named to the second team in 2023 and third team in 2024. In his two seasons at Roger Williams, Gunzy threw 92 innings across 21 outings, limiting opponents to a .251 batting average. In 2024, he registered a 3.52 ERA across 38.1 innings while holding batters to a .214 average.
Holden Phelps | RHP | Crystal Lake, IL | Prairie Ridge HS/Pittsburgh/Missouri
Phelps joins the Saints following stints at the University of Missouri and the University of Pittsburgh. Ranked as a Top 100 right handed pitcher in the class of 2020, Phelps has amassed 45 strikeouts in 43 innings of work at the collegiate level. He also spent time in the MLB Draft League in 2023, registering a 3.38 ERA over 24 innings of work.
A two-time Second Team All-Northwest Conference selection, Sanalang finished his Division III career at George Fox as a .340 hitter. The middle infielder drove in 97 runs over his four-year career and worked 74 walks to just 62 strikeouts. With 169 career hits, Sangalang just missed breaking the top-15 all-time in George Fox program history while his 56 stolen bases ranked sixth all-time in program history.
With a tall stature on the mound, the 6-5 right hander Said looks to beef up the Saints' bullpen. The California native was a top-600 ranked prospect in the state by Perfect Game.
