  • Opening Round: 1-12

  • Against Canisius: 20-46 (CAN W4)
  • Against Iona: 25-50 (ION W3)
Starting Lineup: Quick Hits:
  • Siena will aim to advance out of the winner's bracket for what would be only the second time in program history and the second time in Poughkeepsie. The Saints enter the week having won seven of the final eight regular season contests, including a doubleheader sweep over Le Moyne, three-game weekend sweep over Saint Peter's, and two of three games at Manhattan this past weekend.
  • Under the direction of fourth year head coach Casey Bump, the team is one win away from its third straight 30-win season, with the program setting and trying the single-season record for wins with 32 in both 2022 and 2023. One win would make the Saints the only team in the MAAC to record 30-win campaigns in each of the last three years.
  • Of note this season, junior McKenzie Swinson broke her own single-season record for stolen bases and currently ranks second in the league with 21, while senior Isabella Pardo became just the third player in program history to eclipse the 200-hit mark on a career. At 16-8, redshirt-sophomore pitcher Alissa Eimont owns the second-most pitching wins by a Saint in a single season, and had four saves to her name as well.
  • The team matched its most postseason honors since 2013 with five Saints named to All-MAAC teams following the conclusion of the regular season. Fifth year Jocelyn Ulrich earned the program's first First Team nod since 2019 as a designated player, while Pardo and Eimont earned Second Team honors in the outfield and in the circle, respectively, and freshmen Chloe Cummings and Carlie Venables landed on the MAAC All-Rookie Team.
  • Siena currently leads the MAAC in fielding percentage (.972) and double plays per-game (0.35), while ranking second in shutouts (9) and team ERA (3.02).
  • Individually, Ulrich is fifth nationally among qualifiers in batting average (.455) and ninth nationally in on-base percentage (.538), Eimont is 41st nationally in ERA (1.70), junior Madi Silber is 23rd nationally with 14 hit-by-pitches taken, and Cummings is 36th nationally in sacrifice bunts per-game (0.21).
  • Ulrich has been even better in conference play this season with .475 batting average, .623 slugging percentage, and .554 on-base percentage. Siena is 21-2 this season when holding an opponent to two runs or less, while Pardo is currently enjoying a ten-game on-base streak and Ulrich has hit safely in each of the last seven games.
  • Aside from boasting records over .500 at home, on the road, and in neutral site games, the program has already set a single-season record with ten neutral site wins this season. This comes one year after winning a single-season program record 14 road contests in 2023.
  • Siena has boasted MAAC weekly awards this season from different players. Graduate Student Nicole Patille earned MAAC Pitcher of the Week honors on February 1 and April 23, while Silber was the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week on February 13. Eimont took home MAAC Pitcher of the Week honors three times, and sophomore Emma Petersen took home MAAC Offensive Player of the Week on April 2.
