LOUDONVILLE, NY – For a 24
th consecutive semester, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has named the Siena Swimming & Diving program with Scholar All-America distinction.
The Saints achieved a Metro Atlantic Athletic Association (MAAC) high for a term GPA with a collective 3.77 for the spring and have now earned the award every semester since the fall of 2011. It is the 11
th best semester GPA nationally among 200 Division I programs who sport a women's swimming and diving program at this level.
Siena had six student-athletes make the prestigious "4.0 club" recipients list including 13 student-athletes who were named onto either President or Dean's List honorees, which encompasses those who either score between a 3.9 and 3.99 GPA or between a 3.51 and 3.89 GPA.
Of the 21 student-athletes on the roster, 19 achieved at least a 3.51 GPA or better. The team recorded a 3.70 cumulative GPA mark for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America is the oldest professional organization of college coaches in America. The CSCAA is dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
