LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Siena Men's Lacrosse team racked up two more Metro Atlantic Athletic Association (MAAC) weekly awards with
Caden Olmstead and
Logan Banek earning the MAAC Offensive and Face Off Specialist of the Week recognition on Monday.
In a vote by the conference's sports information directors, Olmstead earned his third career MAAC weekly award while Banek earned his 13rd career MAAC weekly award.
Olmstead, the senior attack from Binghamton, NY totaled six goals and one assist for a career-high seven-point performance to be named conference's Offensive Player of the Week in Siena's 15-9 win against Manhattan this past Saturday.
Banek, a sophomore face off specialist and native of New Hartford, NY, earned the MAAC Face Off Specialist of the Week for the second time this season after a 15 of 19 face offs won performance (.789) with 11 ground balls.
Siena (6-2, 2-0 MAAC) is now receiving votes in the latest USILA Coaches Media Poll and will return to the field Wednesday, March 25 at 7 p.m. when it travels to Poughkeepsie at Tenney Stadium at Leonidoff Field to take on Marist (5-2, 3-0 MAAC).
