LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Junior goalie Brent Herbst was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week earlier today by the league office. He made seven saves and allowed just four goals in Siena's 13-4 victory against Saint Joseph's in the MAAC opener.

Herbst is fourth in the nation with a 6.16 GAA and ninth with a .611 save percentage. Siena returns to action tomorrow when they host St. John's at 3 p.m.
