Game Notes
Siena Men's Lacrosse makes an appearance on the national stage Saturday when the Saints take on ninth ranked Johns Hopkins at 1 p.m. at historic Homewood Field in Baltimore, Md. The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
Siena (1-1) is coming off its first win of the season last Sunday, defeating Air Force 11-6 in the Carrier Dome. Bryan Neufeld registered six points in leading the way for the Saints, running the nation's longest active scoring streak to 37 games.
The Saints are facing Johns Hopkins (2-0) for the third straight year in an ESPNU game at Homewood Field. In 2009, the Blue Jays posted an 11-3 victory, but last season Siena closed the gap and nearly upset the fourth ranked team in the nation. Hopkins escaped with the game-winning tally in the final minute for an 8-7 victory, setting up what should be an exciting rematch today.
