LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - The first of three scheduled spring "Saints Alive!" Coaches Shows premieres Thursday at 9:30 p.m. on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, which is available in the Capital Region on Ch. 50 and 323. Hosted by Time Warner Cable News Sports Director Marisa Jacques, this week's show features interviews and insight from Siena Women's Basketball Head Coach Ali Jaques and senior captain Tehresa Coles and men's lacrosse head coach John Svec and senior captain Richie Hurley.

Thursday's episode will re-air in the Capital Region on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel Friday at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and Saturday at 12:30 p.m. The final two "Saints Alive!" Coaches Shows are scheduled to air later this month. More information on what teams will be featured and air dates will be announced in the near future.

The women's basketball team recently completed its most successful season in a dozen years, posting a 22-13 final record and advancing to the Championship of the Women's Basketball Invitational. The Saints posted a 13-win improvement from last season, which is tied for the second best turnaround nationally, and became the first women's basketball team in the MAAC's 33-year history to win three national postseason tournament games.

Defending MAAC Champion Siena Lacrosse is currently 4-6 overall on the season and 1-2 in the MAAC. The Saints are in the midst of a season long four-game homestand which continues on Apr. 11 vs. Manhattan. Both the Saints' matchup with the Jaspers and Apr. 21 showdown against crosstown rival UAlbany will be televised throughout New York on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel.
