LOUDONVILLE, NY – It's the last hurrah in a MAAC Championship for most of the 13 seniors, graduate students and fifth-year student athletes for the Siena Outdoor Team at the MAAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend at Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, MD on Morgan Track.
While the action is set to begin at 11 a.m. with field events, the first event that the Saints will be competing in on Saturday's Day 1 will be the women's 1,500-meter heats at 1:20 p.m. The last event for Siena on Saturday is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. in the men's 10,000-meter championship.
Day two on Sunday starts at 10 a.m. for field events and track events will begin at 12 p.m. with the last event set to go off at 3:50 p.m. in the men's 4x400-meter race.

Elizabeth DeBole remains optimistic in her team to continue to show progress.
Siena will be seeking to build off its growing confidence gained from winning three races at the Marist Red Fox River Rumble a few weeks back in Poughkeepsie. Senior
Mattingly O'Rourke took the 800-meter event in 2:14.80 after trimming better than five seconds off her previous time when she also finished first in the RPI Under the Lights event. Saints also competing in the 800-meter will be junior
Katie Hayes, freshmen
Avery Harrington,
Brooke Gabriel and
Avery Kozerski. Kozerski had the top time in the 800-meter, clocking in at 2:18.57 at the RPI Capital District Classic. Those heats are scheduled for 3:40 p.m. on Saturday.
Freshman
Max Decker won the men's 5,000-meter in 15:17.08 while
Faith Skowvron took the women's version in 18:43.90. On the day, Siena had nine season-best times and five personal-best times at the Marist Red Fox River Rumble. Fast forward to just two weeks ago, Siena had six Top-3 finishes at the RPI Capital District Classic. O'Rourke finished third in the women's 400-meter with a time of 59.7, the fourth fastest time in program history.
Delaney Spalthoff finished sixth with a time of 1:01.42. Spalthoff and
Sara Fitzgerald will be competing in the women's 400-meter heat at 2:35 p.m.
On the men's team, there were several contenders in the 1,500-meter with
Tyler Greene,
Austin Ferrin and
Luke Tkaczyk finishing second, third and fourth place with times of 3:51.50, 3:51.52, and 3:51.81. They are set to go off along with
Connor Thomas,
Behn Thomas and
Marcus Homa at 1:45 p.m. in the men's 1,500-meter heats.
The women's 1,500-meter will have senior
Julianna Tourangeau in heat one, sophomore
Maris Potter and senior
Izzy McNamee in heat two and sophomore
Summer Reinoehl and freshman
Cameron Sisk competing at 1:20 p.m.
The men's 800-meter heats feature sophomore

Kate DeForest in the 3,000-meter at 5:20 p.m. In the 5:40 p.m. time slot, freshman

Evan Wattie will take part in the men's 3,000-meter. Finally, sophomore

Brody Santagata as well as junior
Jackson Cayward are set to compete in the men's 10,000-meter at 6:35 p.m.
On Sunday, track events will begin at 12 p.m.
