Franklin used his time as a Saint from 2006-10 to become part of the winningest classes in program history (97-38) and lead the team to new heights on the court. He currently ranks fifth in program history in career scoring (1,730) and rebounding (923), the program’s all-time leader in free throws attempted (783) and inside the career top-10 in both steals and blocks. Franklin stands as one of only three players in program history to win 20 games in four straight seasons, one of four players to make three NCAA tournaments, one of five to win 27 or more games twice, one of six to win two NCAA Tournament games, and one of eight to play on three teams that made national postseason appearances.
Under his leadership, Siena won three straight MAAC Tournament titles from 2008-10 and earned NCAA Tournament victories over Vanderbilt in 2008 and Ohio State in 2009. The 2010 MAAC Player of the Year, he earned three All-MAAC honors (Second Team 2008 & 2009, First Team 2010), three MAAC All-Tournament Team nods (MVP in 2010), a pair of NABC District One honors (Second Team in 2009, First Team in 2010), and a Second Team ECAC nod in 2010. Following graduation, Franklin has embarked on a professional basketball career spanning over a decade across five different countries. He has represented the Puerto Rican National Team on multiple occasions.
