In her four seasons at Siena (1978-82), Rousseau started every game at forward. As a rookie she averaged 13.6 points per-game and pulled down 11.4 rebounds per-game, which marked her best season in a Siena uniform. Rousseau is one of 12 players to exceed 1,000 points in her career. She scored 1001 from 1978-82 and joined teammate and All-American Vicki Aromando as the first two women in the school's history to reach that milestone. Rousseau graduated third on Siena's career rebounding list, pulling down 725; seventh in career steals (205); and is also seventh on the season rebounding list, pulling down 228 to lead the team in 1978-79. She was also sixth all-time in assists with 220. She was a tri-captain on the 1982 squad that captured the 1982 New York State Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NYSAIAW) Championship, and was named the MVP of the 1982 State Tournament. Rousseau was inducted into the Upstate New York Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.
