Siena Athletics Hall of Fame
The first women’s tennis Saint to be inducted into the Siena Hall of Fame, Mayer led the team on the court from 2000-03. She graduated with 57 career singles and 42 career doubles victories to total for 99 combined wins. She won 32 combined matches in two straight seasons, from 2001-02 to 2002-03, and notched 15 doubles wins in both her junior and senior seasons. Mayer was also excellent in the classroom and was named a Siena Women’s Tennis Scholar. She is part of the only set of sisters enshrined in the Siena Athletics Hall of Fame and is one of four relative combinations of any kind.
