Siena Athletics Hall of Fame
Fabozzi played basketball from 1946 through 1950 for the late Dan Cunha. Despite standing only 5-7, he was a high-scoring player and one of the guards on the Siena team which won the National Catholic Invitational Tournament championship in 1950. Part of the 1950 Siena squad that posted a 28-5 record, won the NCIT, ranked second nationally in defense and became Siena’s first ever team to play in Madison Square Garden. He later served as a high school basketball, golf and tennis coach. He died on February 8, 2017 at the age of 89.
