Laniewski played from 1984-87 and remains the program’s all-time leader in points(89) and goals scored (32) and ranks second in assists(25) to this day. During his career, he started in 61 of 66 games and earned All-Region honors in his final three seasons. During his junior season, Laniewski put together 12 goals and 30 total points, marking the second most proficient season in program history. His senior year output of 24 points also sits inside the single-season top-10. Perhaps more impressive, Laniewski scored eight game-deciding goals in his four-year career. He also holds the program’s single-game scoring record, scoring four goal for eight total points in a 6-2 victory over Utica on September 25, 1986.
