Siena Athletics Hall of Fame
Playing alongside his bother Dick and under the leadership of father and fellow Siena Hall-Of-Famer Leo Callahan, Jack Callahan served as a co-captain during all three years that he was on the varsity squad. A two-time individual qualifier for the NCAA Division II National Championships, he also took home the individual title at the 1970 ECAC Qualifying Tournament and a pair of MECAA individual titles. Callahan allowed the Siena Linksmen to capture back-to-back MECAA team titles in 1969 & 1970 and played alongside Hall of Fame counterpart Tom Venter. He is part of the only father-son combination in the Siena Athletics Hall of Fame, and one of four relative combinations of any kind.
