Siena Athletics Hall of Fame
The 1991 MAAC Player of the Year, Higgins scored 1,137 points for Siena as it transitioned into the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The team posted a winning mark in each of her four years, and advanced to the MAAC Tournament Semifinals in each of their first two years in the league with her help. Higgins was also a two-time First Team All-MAAC selection and was selected as a Second Team GTE Academic All-American her senior year. She still holds the single-game program record for field goals made (18), remains inside the program top-10 in single season field goals and career and single season field goal percentage, and her 37-point output against Manhattan in 1991 remains the second most points scored in a single game in program history. Higgins was inducted into the Upstate New York Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.
