A guard, she became the first Siena basketball player, male or female, to score over 2,000 points in a career with 2,084 and remains one of only four between both programs to have done so.

Gaudreau averaged 18.4 points per game throughout her career and still holds program records for all-time scoring, field goals made (891), field goals attempted (1,943), field goals attempted in a season (544), most points scored in a game (41), and most field goals attempted in a game (29). She was a two-time First Team CoSIDA Academic All-America in 1981 and 1982 and was part of the Indians squad that captured the 1982  New York State Intercollegiate Athletics for Women NYSAIAW Division II Championship. Gaudreau was selected to the MAAC Basketball Hall of Fame Honor Roll in 2016.
