A two-sport star at Siena, McCrudden pursued baseball after graduation, pitching in the Brooklyn / Los Angeles Dodgers Farm System in 1958. He was also inducted into the Yonkers Baseball Hall of Fame. He died on April 10, 2003 at the age of 70.
