Despite playing just two years for the Saints, Travers had a lasting impact on the storied Siena Volleyball program. Transferring to Siena from Cerritos Community College prior to the 1994 season, she quickly inherited the setter role on a championship team, helping the Saints capture back-to-back MAAC Championships in 1994 and 1995. Travers spearheaded the Saints’ run to the 1995 NCAA Tournament, averaging 10 assists per-game in helping the Saints to a 25-5 regular season mark. A deceptive offensive presence, Travers boasted a .374 attack average that year, en-route to capturing 1995 MAAC Player of the Year Honors – a distinction rarely bestowed upon a setter. She was also named the 1994 MAAC Tournament MVP and named to the 1995 All-Tournament following stellar performances with the season on the line.
