Robinson graduated as Siena's all-time leading scorer and still ranks inside the program’s top-10 with 1,657 points. A four-year starter for a Siena program that was preparing to take a monumental step, he scored in double-figures 16 times as a freshman while leading the team in scoring four times, and was named a  North Atlantic Conference All-Rookie Team selection. Robinson ranked second on Siena roster with 76 assists as a freshman and was named the Siena MVP as a sophomore, despite being hampered by a broken wrist.

The 1988-89 NAC Player of the Year, Robinson led Siena and the NAC with 19.8 points per game (including a career-high 37 vs. Maine) and finished second on Siena roster with 5.5 rebounds. He also took home First team All-NAC honors and an Honorable Mention All-East nod by Eastern Basketball for his efforts as the top player on Siena' s first NCAA Tournament team. Aiding Siena in upsetting Stanford for its first ever NCAA Tournament Victory, he was named Chevrolet MVP for his 23-point performance in NCAA Tournament second round game against Minnesota. Over the course of two of the most important contests in program history, he averaged 21.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in 1989 NCAA Tournament. Robinson went on to produce 14.9 points, 53 steals 60 three-point shots, and lead the team in free throws made (108) during his senior season.

Responsible for 81 Siena wins and a .692 win percentage over the course of his career, Robinson coupled his 1,000 + point output with 583 rebounds and 284 assists. He still holds the program NCAA Tournament records for the most field goal attempts (22 vs. Minnesota), three-point shots made (6 vs. Stanford and Minnesota) and three-point field shots attempted (15 vs. Minnesota). He was selected to the Upstate New York Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.
