Vivano starred as a defenseman for the Saints from 2006-09, helping the program to reach new heights with a MAAC Championship and its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2009. A three-time First Team All-MAAC selection, he was named the 2009 MAAC Defensive Player of the Year and graduated with the program’s career (53) and single-season (28, 2009) records for caused turnovers. Viviano helped guide Siena to the program’s first two MAAC Regular Season Championships in both 2007 & 2009, while captaining a defense which led the nation in goals-against-average in 2008 (6.25) and ranked second nationally in 2009 (6.5).
