An integral part of three consecutive MAAC Regular Season titles for Siena Women’s Basketball, Basko led the Saints to their first and only NCAA Tournament appearance to-date in 2001, as well as a pair of WNIT bids in 2002 & 2003. With 1,833 points to her name, she ranks third all-time on the program’s scoring list and led the team in points per-game during her sophomore and junior seasons. Basko was a four-time All-MAAC honoree, including a pair of First Team nods, and is one of only a handful of players in conference history to win multiple MAAC Player of the Year honors, doing so in 2001 & 2002. She was also named the MAAC Defensive Player of the Year during her junior season and earned a pair of Kodak District II All-America awards. Basko went on to play professionally from 2003-19 in five different countries following graduation, most notably in her home country of Latvia, whom she represented in multiple EuroBasket Games and the 2008 Summer Olympics. She was selected to the MAAC’s 25th Anniversary Women’s Basketball Team in 2006.
