The 1996 MAAC Tournament MVP, she earned All-MAAC honors in both of her final two seasons in volleyball. She was also given a pair of GTE/CoSIDA Regional All-Academic Awards in 1995 & 1996 and was selected on the MAAC All-Academic Team. DeFrancesco also had an impressive career on the softball field, serving as the team’s starting shortstop. She held a .289 career batting and at time of graduation held the single-season program record for assists (123).
