Siena Athletics Hall of Fame
A key member of some of the most successful basketball seasons in program history (1988-92) Schroeder scored 1,290 points to aid Siena in gaining its first-ever NCAA Tournament victory in 1989 and a trip to the 1991 NIT. After helping the program capture the 1988-89 North Atlantic Conference title and upset Stanford in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, Schroeder helped Siena win the 1990-91 MAAC Regular Season Championship and win two games in that year’s NIT. Schroeder was responsible for 85 victories during his four years at Siena. A two-time All-MAAC selection, he was also named to the MAAC All-Academic Team twice, given an All-East Honorable Mention nod in 1992 and was named a First Team GTE Academic All-American that season as well. Schroeder was selected to the MAAC Hall of Fame Honor Roll in 2012.
