Eggleston became the first primary athletic administrator inducted into the Siena Athletics Hall of Fame since 1978. A 2018 MAAC Hall of Fame Honor Roll inductee and 2014 ECAC Commissioner's Award recipient, Eggleston served 36 years as both an administrator and coach. Originally from Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Eggleston was first hired as Siena Women's Athletic Coordinator in 1978, and also served as the first head coach of the field hockey program (1978-92), head coach of the softball team (1979-82), and as an assistant coach with the women's basketball program (1978-85), before transitioning exclusively to an administrative role. She spent the final 15 years of her tenure as Siena's Associate Director of Athletics, Senior Woman Administrator, and the College's first athletics compliance officer, while helping grow Siena's Division I women's athletic programs to include the additions of women's golf (1996), women's lacrosse (1997), women's swimming and diving (1999), and women's water polo (2001). Amongst her highlights as a coach, Eggleston was the winningest coach in Siena Field Hockey history, amassed 86 victories while leading the softball program, and assisted women's basketball to a 135-55 (.711) record during her seven years on staff, punctuated by the 1982 EAIAW Division II Regional Championship.
